Please enquire for a quote on shipping charges if your country or nearest seaport is not on the above list or for bulk orders. Minimum volume is 1 cubic meter to 20ft & 40ft container. (Average transit time 4 to 8 weeks.)

Insurance: We can arrange insurance on your behalf against damage or loss for Shipped Sea freight goods only. The charge is an additional 2.5% of the total purchase price from our Web Page price. (Although insurance is optional, it is recommended).

Smaller or Items under 30Kg may be sent direct to your home address or local post office for collection by the local postal service in most countries, however postal goods are only insuranced against loss. There is no insurance against damage with this service. We will however take all precautions to pack your goods as well as possible to prevent damage. Average postal time 2 _ to 3 _ months by surface mail. (If you require goods, SAL 3 weeks, AIR 1 week or (UPS or DHL 2 to 5 days) please specify and enquire for rates and additional charges). Note: Items that will be sent by post will have the words (By Post) after the price on the web page.

Note: for CD only (CD only available to walk in customers) Should you be browsing through our CD which includes example pictures of our stock, past, present & reproductions which can be made to order. Note: this CD includes an excel file price list. This price list does not including include packing, shipping or postal charges. When ordering from the CD please quote the jpeg file name and give a discription of the item(s) that you wish to purchase.

The customer is responsible for any import taxes, duty & handling fees etc at the port in their own country. As a service to our clients, we are happy to provide a packing list to show the goods as either wooden ware, handicrafts or, Òantiques, when antiques are purchasedÓ, and or a,Ó place of origin certificate. This may assist you in clearing your goods GST tax free etc.

However this will depend on how your local customs office classify the goods. Thus the type of classification given to your goods before shipping may assist you in reducing any possible payable duty to a lower or zero rate. (for example there is no duty payable on wooden ware imported to the USA)

Check with your local customs office for details on import taxes of the above categories to determine the description that best suits you to minimize or null any possible taxes. ÒRates vairy from country to country. Collection arrangements from the seaport in your own country will be the responsibility of the customer or an agent that we can appoint for you. The customer will be responsible for any import agent fees. We shall arrange for the shipping company to supply you or your agent with the relevant documentation. i.e. Bill of Laden, estimated date of arrival etc. All items must be removed or delivery arrangements made to collect the goods normally within three working days from date of arrival at most seaports unless special arrangements are made. Most port and customs houses may subject you to storage charges should your goods be left longer than the designated period.

TOUCH WOOD Antiques, Teak Furniture & Carvings (A division of Amono Group Co., Ltd.) is waived from any additional charges at your port of entry and or damages that may occur to any item(s) sent by post office or by Sea freight if uninsured.
